What mechanics ask before they start.
Is Gallop workshop software?
Gallop gives your workshop a website where customers book a service or ask for a repair quote, plus a business app for bookings, quotes, invoices and payments. It doesn't track parts or stock.
Can customers book a service and ask for a repair quote?
Yes. Services book online at a free time, and repairs go through your quote form.
Can I ask for the make and model?
Yes. Add up to five questions of your own to the quote form, like the make, model and year, and customers can add photos.
Can it remind customers when their next service is due?
Not yet. Customers get a reminder before a booked service, but Gallop doesn't send reminders when a car is due.
Can I invoice a repair?
Yes. Send a job invoice by email from the app, record what's paid by bank transfer, cash or card, and see what's still owed.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Describe your workshop the way you'd tell a new customer: your services, prices and the repairs you quote. Gallop asks a few questions and builds the rest.
