What photographers ask before they start.
Is Gallop software for photographers?
Yes. Gallop gives you a website where clients book sessions or ask for a quote, plus a business app for bookings, quotes, deposits and invoices.
Can I ask for the date and venue?
Yes. Add up to five questions of your own to the quote form, including a date, a short answer or a choice.
Can I take a deposit to hold the date?
Yes. Add a deposit to the quote, and the client is emailed a deposit invoice when they accept. They pay by bank transfer, or by cash or card in person, and you mark it paid.
Can I deliver photos to clients through Gallop?
Not yet. Gallop doesn't have client galleries, so deliver photos the way you do now.
Can I show my portfolio?
Yes. Post photos from your phone and they're in your website's gallery straight away.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Describe your photography the way you'd tell a new client: your sessions, prices and the events you quote. Gallop asks a few questions and builds the rest.
