What hair salons ask before they start.
Is Gallop salon software?
Yes. Gallop gives your salon a website where clients book online, plus a business app for bookings, clients, stylists' hours and in-person payments, all from your phone.
Can clients choose their stylist?
Yes. Each stylist has their own hours and time off, and clients pick a stylist and a free time when they book online.
Can each service take a different length of time?
Yes. Each service has its own length, so a colour and a trim book the time they actually need.
Does it send booking reminders?
Yes. Clients get a confirmation email when they book and a reminder email before the appointment.
Can I record patch tests or allergies?
No. Gallop doesn't store health or medical details (like allergies, injuries or pregnancy), ID numbers or other sensitive personal information. That information has stricter privacy rules, and keeping it out protects you and your customers. Use a system built for health records for that part.
Can I take deposits for long appointments?
Not yet. Gallop doesn't take payments online, so there are no deposits or prepayment. Payment is taken in the salon.
Will bookings show in my phone's calendar?
Yes. Each stylist gets a private link that adds their bookings to Apple, Google or Outlook calendar, and new bookings show up there on their own.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Describe your salon the way you'd tell a new client: your services, prices, stylists and hours. Gallop asks a few questions and builds the rest.
