What tutors ask before they start.
Is Gallop software for tutors?
Yes. Gallop gives you a website where students or parents book lessons online, plus a business app for your timetable, students and payments, all from your phone.
Can parents book lessons?
Yes. Anyone can book from your website by signing in with a code sent to their email, so a parent can book for their child.
Can I teach different subjects?
Yes. Each kind of lesson has its own name, length and price, and you can teach as many as you like.
Can I set up a regular weekly lesson?
Not as a repeating booking yet. Each lesson is booked on its own, by the student or parent online or by you in the app.
Can I teach groups?
Not yet. Online booking is for 1:1 lessons, one student per time slot. Classes where many people book the same time are planned.
Does it send lesson reminders?
Yes. Whoever booked gets a confirmation email and a reminder email before the lesson.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Describe your tutoring the way you'd tell a new parent: your subjects, prices and hours. Gallop asks a few questions and builds the rest.
